Innova Halo Star Firebird - Disc Golf Africa Fundraiser

Over the last several years, Innova Ambassador Yohannes Desalegn has helped share disc golf to his home country of Ethiopia and other African nations through dozens of events, promotions, and tournaments. Support from fundraisers like these Halo Firebird discs will help Desalegn, who organized Africa’s first PDGA sanctioned event, to continue his work of bringing disc golf to more Africans.

For thousands of years, the ceremonial mask has played an important role in Africa. Eye catching and eliciting emotion, these masks are utilized for rituals, festivals, and other important community gatherings. Desalegn thought such a mask would be perfect for the Disc Golf Africa fundraiser design.

The Firebird is the first “very overstable” disc that developing disc golfers should get. This disc will provide a massive fading hook, but it’s not so fast that it can’t be controlled by less powerful players. The Firebird makes a great forehand driver and can easily handle headwinds.

Halo Star is a decorative blend of Star plastic featuring a colorful halo design where the rim is a distinctly different color than the center plate of the disc.
