MVP Fission Photon - Elaine King Signature Series

Support Elaine King and buy a Signature Series Fission Photon.

The Photon is best described as a longer Tesla, with power throwers able to achieve some flight extending turn, and all throwers getting a reliable fade. The Photon is naturally headwind resistant but average power throwers can use a headwind to emulate those extended flights of high power throwers.

About Fission Plastic: Fission™ Microbubble Technology produces an ultralight core with evenly distributed and imperceptible weight reduction microbubbles. The ultralight core allows an even higher GYRO® overmold density relative to the core, yet still remaining in the lighter weight classes — 135g to 165g in the Photon.

Photon Flight Numbers:

  • Speed: 11.0
  • Glide: 5.0
  • Turn: -1.0
  • Fade: 2.5

Flight Factory is Great!!! There customer service was above and beyond. Especially Ryan! They didn’t have the disc in the color I ordered. They had another disc same weight different color. He sent a bunch of swag along with the disc. A couple stickers and a glow in the dark Calvin Mini really made our day. Thank you Flight Factory! BTW- The fission Photon is incredible. It is the disc I use when I need to flex a line directly into the wind. It always gets stable at the finish.

    146g Fission Photon

Most lightweight discs are much more understable than their heavier counterparts. This disc is not understable at all. This disc holds the line even into a stiff headwind. At 146g, it is much easier to get it up to speed to get a truer flight pattern.
